Having a Comfortable & Flexible Learning Environment is very important at our school. Who of us wants to be uncomfortable when working or learning?! We definitely don’t want that for our kids. We have a variety of seating options for students to use throughout the school day.

Having a Comfortable & Flexible Learning Environment is very important at our school. Who of us wants to be uncomfortable when working or learning?! We definitely don’t want that for our kids. We have a variety of seating options for students to use throughout the school day.
Students can sit on wobble stools while working at a table, sit on the floor while working on a clipboard, or stand up if that helps them to focus. We want our kids to enjoy coming to school, be comfortable while they are learning, and understand that we each have our own individual preferences . . . and that’s ok.

We believe providing our students with Individual Attention is important to their ultimate academic success.
All of our students receive 1:1 attention at some point during each school day. Our Structured Literacy groups are limited to no more than 3 students and in our other academic classes/groups there are 5 or fewer students.

Our Year-Round Calendar is an example of our commitment to our students’ overall success. We keep students engaged in learning every month throughout a calendar year. Ultimately, our finish line is high school graduation. We view our continuum of learning as a marathon, not a sprint.

We are proud of our Year-Round Calendar and believe that it helps our teachers and students continue to be refreshed and ready to teach and learn.
For our inaugural school year (2023-2024) our calendar is from August - May. However, beginning with our 2nd year (2024-2025) it will run from June - July.
